Salary: $17.05 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. North Area/Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings and weekends. Performs entry-level paraprofessional library work at one of the individual area libraries by assisting in the Circulation section of the library.

Requirements

Successful completion of one (1) year of college coursework at an accredited college or university (30 semester (45 quarter) hours = one (1) year); OR one (1) year of public library or customer service experience. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Special Requirements

When usage statistics change, library employees may be assigned to another library. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
