Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to integrate adaptive strategies and materials. Utilize assistive technologies and specialized equipment to enhance learning experiences. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches accordingly. Provide orientation and mobility training to promote student independence. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Valid teaching credential with certification in visual impairment or a related specialty. Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments. Strong knowledge of braille, assistive technology, and adaptive instructional methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Location: Position based in Van Nuys, California, serving a full semester duration.
