Chicago, IL – Hybrid (3 days/week in office) Come join an innovative team of marketing strategists and growth experts dedicated to building the future of trading. We're looking for a Head of Awareness Marketing to drive brand differentiation, awareness, consideration, and equity. You’ll develop and implement integrated brand campaigns across all channels, including digital, traditional, social, and emerging media. In this high-impact, high-velocity role, you'll be instrumental in managing the brand’s reputation and ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints. Plus, you would be the driving force behind our unique point of view and voice that stands out from traditional financial marketing. As part of the marketing leadership team, you'll report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and help shape the strategic direction of our growing company. What You\'ll Do: Develop and execute comprehensive brand and advertising strategies that differentiates us in a highly competitive space Define brand voice, messaging architecture, and brand strategy that resonates with self-directed traders and investors Drive brand content strategy across PR, partnerships, and owned channels to drive credibility and reach Partner with strategy, performance, and marketing operations teams to create content that supports acquisition, engagement, and retention Develop community-building strategies that foster brand loyalty and advocacy Launch creative partnerships and collaborations that expand reach Drive rapid decision-making and execution by building influence networks across the business, championing high-impact initiatives, and personally removing team blockers Build compelling business cases for strategic initiatives and secure resources needed for execution Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation Navigate regulatory requirements and compliance considerations in financial services marketing Who You Are: MBA Required (in marketing, business, or related field) 10+ years of brand strategy or marketing strategy leadership experience, preferably in trading, investing, D2C financial services, fintech or closely related industry 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performing teams of 5 or more Experience with companies of 250 employees or more Experience running a marketing budget of at least $10M Proven track record of building and scaling consumer brands You are obsessed with moving key business metrics through brand initiatives You are an expert at creating content strategies that drive engagement and education Go-getter mentality, proactive and resourceful You possess both analytical and creative mindset with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes You can balance short-term needs with sustainable growth strategies You have a high propensity to innovate and experiment with new approaches Excel at cross-functional collaboration and demonstrate systems thinking Natural developer of talent and team builder who can inspire and guide others Can navigate a matrixed organizations and influence outcomes without direct authority Compensation & Benefits: Performance Bonuses Stock Purchase Options 401k Plan 20 Paid Vacation Days (plus an additional paid vacation day the month of your birthday!) 10 Paid Sick Days Pet Insurance Wellness & Mental Health Programs Charitable Donation Matching Daily catered lunch when in the office Full kitchen with snacks and beverages Shuttle to/from Metra Office located in the West Loop - Chicago's growing center of tech, great cuisine, and high-end bars Salary Range:
