ReliaQuest
Overview
ReliaQuest is looking for a Technical Writer who can create and deliver content that drives deep understanding and usage of ReliaQuest’s cloud-native Open XDR platform, GreyMatter. The GreyMatter platform is used by both an internal community (our security operations analysts acting on behalf of customers) and our customer community.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with customers and/or internal teams (including product managers, project managers, UX designers, and developers) to understand the problems users face and how the products help solve them.
- Delivers clear, high‑quality documentation in a timely manner—aligned to product releases and launch events.
- Consumes large amounts of technical details and organizes this information into digestible formats for users.
- Follows an established writing style guide to provide consistent content.
- Audits and evaluates existing content and recommends changes/rewrites to meet brand guidelines and content standards.
- Provides input to engineers, product managers, and designers on product content, documentation, and visual components from readability and usability perspectives.
- Regularly provides documentation walkthroughs to internal and external end users.
- Manages multiple projects, prioritizes work, and sets stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a technical writer in a B2B software, IT, or cybersecurity company.
- Experience working with product management teams, UX designers, engineers, and end users.
- Proven ability to translate highly technical information into digestible formats for users.
- Ability to own the creation, collaboration, and publication of technical product documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Writes exceptionally clean copy (and has blog clips to prove it).
- Thrives in a fast-paced company with high editorial standards.
