What We're Looking For
Marco Experiences is seeking a seasoned Event Designer to lead the planning and execution of exceptional corporate offsites and retreats.
We are open to a junior or senior hire, depending on years of experience.
As a key member of our Event Operations team, you’ll play a critical role in Marco’s mission to deliver seamless, memorable, and high-impact customer experiences.
In this role, you’ll manage multiple complex events at once while driving process improvements that scale with our growth.
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering bespoke experiences that not only exceed client expectations but also raise the bar for operational excellence through collaboration across teams.

The Event Design role blends creative vision with operational execution, turning client ideas into experiences that inspire and deliver lasting impact.
Event Design [Planning & Client Management]
The core responsibility of this role is to design, coordinate, and execute a wide range of high-impact events, virtually and in-person with clients (if needed).
As an Event Designer, you’ll ensure outstanding client satisfaction and contribute directly to Marco’s growth and success.
- Client-Centric Design and Execution:Create custom event concepts that align with each client’s unique vision and goals. Use a consultative approach to deeply understand client needs and deliver tailored, impactful events.
- Innovative Event Solutions:Stay ahead of industry trends to introduce fresh ideas, themes, and technologies that elevate our events. Address challenges with creativity and agility.
- Comprehensive Budget Management:Develop and oversee event budgets to maximize value while maintaining quality. Negotiate competitive pricing with vendors and suppliers.
- Flawless Logistics and Vendor Coordination:Own all logistical elements end-to-end. Build strong vendor relationships and problem-solve proactively to ensure smooth execution.
- Post-Event Analysis and Continuous Improvement:Measure success through client feedback and data. Apply insights to continually raise the bar for future events.
Operations Strategy [Process and Product Improvement]
Beyond execution, you’ll also contribute strategically to Marco’s growth, helping refine how we work and the products we build.
- Process Optimization:Identify and address inefficiencies in event workflows, implementing enhancements that improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Product Integration:Explore and adopt tools, technologies, and platforms that streamline event planning and improve client engagement.
- Data-Driven Insights:Use analytics and feedback to inform decisions, enhance offerings, and support Marco’s growth.
- Collaboration with Product Development:Partner with product and operations teams to share insights from the field, shaping products and services that meet evolving client needs.
What You Have
- 3-5+ years of experience in event planning, corporate events, event production, or a related field.
- Experience in high-growth startups, freelancing, or similarly fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with task management or project planning tools.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to lead wide-scale projects and influence decision-making.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to tackle tasks of all sizes—a “no task is too small” mentality.
- Bonus points for any background in the Hospitality industry.
