Job Description: As a Master Data Management (MDM) Informatica IDQ and MDM Technical Anchor, you will be instrumental in applying our MDM strategies, requirements, and policies, ensuring they align with the company's vision. You will actively support the solutioning, architectural design, and oversee the implementation of our MDM solutions built on Informatica platform technologies. This hands-on role will involve leading the design and development of the information architecture for a robust MDM platform, focusing on matching and consolidating critical data subject areas to support our strategic objectives.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in implementing MDM solutions, specifically with Informatica.
- Prior experience with Informatica MDM solutioning and architectural design is highly valued.
- Experience with Informatica IDMC Cloud is a significant plus.
- Hands-on expertise across the entire MDM solution lifecycle, including data profiling, integration, validation, cleansing, standardization, matching, and consolidation.
- A strong understanding of data structures and relationships.
- Excellent data analysis skills, with strong proficiency in SQL.
- The ability to understand and assess Source to Target mapping documents, providing insightful recommendations.
- Knowledge of technology and software development processes.
- Strong presentation development and delivery skills.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, capable of anticipating issues and planning effectively.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will center on leading Informatica IDQ and Informatica MDM initiatives, requiring strong SQL skills for guidance and analysis. Beyond technical expertise, a background in Data Management and its relevance to the business needs of internal customers (such as Purchasing, Finance and Accounting, Manufacturing, and Service) is highly valued, particularly regarding the lifecycle of materials supporting enterprise business processes. The ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse and global team is essential.
- MDM Solutioning & Architectural Design: Lead the design and architecture of Informatica MDM solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business requirements and enterprise data strategy.
- Informatica MDM Configuration: Oversee and guide the configuration and customization of Informatica MDM, defining entity types, relationships, business rules, match and merge strategies, and user interfaces.
- Data Modeling: Lead the design and maintenance of the data model within the MDM system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Data Integration: Direct the integration of data from various source systems into Informatica MDM, performing data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Match and Merge: Define and guide the implementation of robust match and merge rules to consolidate duplicate records within party entities.
- Data Quality Management: Lead the definition and implementation of data quality rules and workflows within the MDM system to monitor and improve data quality.
- Data Governance: Ensure adherence to data governance principles and data security best practices throughout MDM implementation and ongoing data management.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimize data loading, matching, and retrieval.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver MDM solutions that meet business needs.
- Testing and Validation: Oversee unit and integration testing to validate MDM configurations and data accuracy.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation including design specs, configuration guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Reporting & Analysis: Analyze business requirements, build reporting for validating MDM activities, optimize SQL queries, and provide data migration scripts and scheduled reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years), or an associate degree with minimum 6 years of equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in Informatica MDM and IDQ solutioning, design, and implementation leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in Informatica MDM solutioning and architectural design.
- Prior experience with other MDM tools or cloud-based MDM solutions is advantageous.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Informatica MDM tools, including MDM Hub and ActiveVOS.
- Strong familiarity with data modeling principles and data integration techniques.
- Proficiency in data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation processes.
- Data Governance & Quality:
- Strong understanding of data quality management and data governance practices within an MDM environment.
- Problem-Solving & Communication:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot MDM-related issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications:
- Informatica MDM certifications, such as Informatica MDM Developer Specialist, are highly desirable.

Salary: This position is a salary grade 8, with a salary range applicable to location and experience.
