We’re looking for a strong, talented, result-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Proofpoint Email Security Product Marketing team. You will drive Go-to-Market strategy for the Proofpoint Threat Protection solution and be the expert on our buyers, competitors, and market opportunities. You will partner with product management, marketing, and sales to build and execute Go-to-Market plans and create high-impact assets to enable the field and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter, a diplomatic collaborator, a strategic thinker who enjoys getting hands dirty and using sound judgment to push back or dive in. Your Day-to-Day
Positioning and Messaging: Be the expert on buyers, their buying criteria, and how they buy. Develop messaging that emphasizes differentiators and business value against market and competitive trends. Content Creation: Develop messaging and content (webinars, blogs, solution briefs, datasheets, presentations, etc.) that highlight differentiated business value for target buyers. Presentation and Thought Leadership: Present to internal and external audiences, train sales, brief customers, host webinars, participate in industry events, and serve as the primary thought leader for related solutions. Domain Expertise: Research market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Translate insights into actionable guidance for sales, customer success, corporate marketing, and product management. Launch Execution: Lead cross-functional teams in planning and launching new solution capabilities and releases to generate sales and market awareness. Sales Enablement: Create and deliver enablement content and tools to help sellers communicate our value. Dynamic Collaboration: Build relationships across product management, corporate marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales to ensure alignment on release benefits. Customer Advocacy: Leverage customer stories to strengthen messaging and demonstrate impact of updates. What You Bring To The Team
8+ years of experience in product marketing with preference for email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT. BS/BA in business or technical discipline; MBA a plus. Experience marketing to enterprise and technical buyers with concise messaging. Proven ability to craft engaging content and translate market knowledge into actionable Go-to-Market plans. Analytical mindset with the ability to execute tactically and manage multiple priorities. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire diverse teams. Ability to articulate value propositions at both product and solution levels and to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences ( this line intentionally descriptive; no external formatting ). Public speaking and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences. High energy and enthusiasm with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel (approximately 10-15%), including international locations. This role can be based in a Proofpoint office, hybrid, or remote. Why Proofpoint

Pay ranges are provided to promote pay transparency. Actual offers depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. Our benefits package includes flexible time off, a well-being program with paid days, and optional “Work from Anywhere.” Base Pay Ranges SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area: 161,625.00 - 237,050.00 USD California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska: 132,225.00 - 193,930.00 USD All other cities and states: 120,525.00 - 176,770.00 USD Seniority level
