BASE SALARY: $75,000 to $90,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth and profitability of FinanceBuzz’s paid media portfolio by owning the strategy, execution, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Demand Gen, Performance Max, YouTube).
• Manage a large-scale budget ($20M+/year) and continuously optimize to maximize ROAS and revenue.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative assets, write compelling ad copy, and maintain an organized asset library for rapid testing.
• Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns with measurable objectives, owning targeting, bidding, and creative experimentation.
• Monitor campaign health, drive improvements to CTR and CPA, and document tests and results for sharing with stakeholders.
• Work with yield partners and business leads to surface opportunities and align priorities.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert on Google Ads strategy and the full campaign lifecycle, focusing on scalable and efficient spend.

Qualifications

• Must have: 4+ years of hands-on experience planning, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Demand Gen, Performance Max, YouTube) with revenue/ROAS as the primary KPI.
• Must have: Proven ability to manage large budgets ($20M+/year) and consistently meet ROAS and revenue goals independently.
• Must have: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Looker, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools, plus advanced Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Must have: Ability to write compelling ad copy and collaborate on creative asset development.
• Must have: Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with a track record of influencing cross-functional partners.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years managing Google Ads campaigns, across multiple formats, with success optimizing large budgets and driving ROAS and revenue growth.
• Competencies: Technical mastery of Google Ads, analytical problem-solving, organizational skills, collaboration and influence, growth mindset, communication, and adaptability.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework. Your compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits. Future increases are based on company and personal performance, not annual cost of living adjustments.
