Overview

Disney Entertainment Television is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Communications & Special Projects and the Vice President of Executive Communications. This dynamic role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage complex schedules and logistics, and a knack for navigating high-pressure environments with professionalism and poise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to two Vice Presidents, acting as the primary point of contact for scheduling, correspondence, and general administrative tasks.
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings across departments, capture efficient meeting minutes, reserve conference rooms, and handle phone communication.
  • Organize and book travel arrangements, create detailed itineraries, and ensure timely submission of expense reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive assistants, department leaders, and external partners to streamline communication and scheduling.
  • Regularly coordinate with senior Disney Entertainment Television executive offices for scheduling and information sharing.
  • Monitor and manage meeting attendance, ensuring VPs are prepared with relevant materials.
  • Oversee office resource management and maintain departmental documents and calendars.
  • Provide additional support for communication events and executive communications as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of administrative experience, preferably within the entertainment industry
  • Experience interfacing with administrative teams in senior executive offices
  • Familiarity with SAP/Concur and Expense Reports
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in both PC and Mac environments, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Docs
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and decisively adapt to changing situations with ease and flexibility
  • Exceptional attention to detail alongside the ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a strong commitment to follow-through, capable of managing multiple projects efficiently and concurrently
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • A positive outlook with proactive, resourceful, and adaptable qualities
  • A valued team player with an approachable demeanor, skilled in navigating diverse personalities and responsibilities without getting overwhelmed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
