Asset Living is hiring: Senior Community Manager in Los Angeles

Job Description

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. The Community Manager will manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management.

Responsibilities include personnel management, financial management, strategic leasing management, and administrative and maintenance management. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and experience in the housing industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Personnel Management: screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff
• Financial Management: achieve the highest possible net operating income through effective cost control and revenue and leasing improvement
• Strategic Leasing Management: develop yearly marketing plan and utilize marketing strategies and systems
• Administrative & Maintenance Management: ensure all administrative and leasing reporting is accurate and complete

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Frequently required to walk and sit
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

License/Equipment

• Must have reliable transportation due to the emergency on-call requirement

Asset Living offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including benefits, 401K with employer matching, and commission and performance bonuses. The salary range for this position is $68,640 per year to $76,960 per year.
