Senior Community Manager Job at Asset Living in Los Angeles

Job Description Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. The Community Manager will manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. Responsibilities include personnel management, financial management, strategic leasing management, and administrative and maintenance management. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and experience in the housing industry. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Personnel Management: screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff Financial Management: achieve the highest possible net operating income through effective cost control and revenue and leasing improvement Strategic Leasing Management: develop yearly marketing plan and utilize marketing strategies and systems Administrative & Maintenance Management: ensure all administrative and leasing reporting is accurate and complete Education/Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear Frequently required to walk and sit Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl License/Equipment Must have reliable transportation due to the emergency on-call requirement Asset Living offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including benefits, 401K with employer matching, and commission and performance bonuses.
