Assistant Professor of Elementary Music Education

We seek applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Elementary Music Education with a start date of August 2026. We are looking for a dynamic and collegial music educator to help our faculty prepare K-12 music teachers and contribute to our thriving community of musicians and scholars.

Doctorate (Ph.D. or D.M.A.) in music education required; ABD considered with doctorate completed by start date. Must have a minimum of three years of public-school teaching experience with a broad knowledge of pedagogical approaches in Elementary Music Education.

• Prepare K-12 music teachers
• Contribute to the community of musicians and scholars
• Doctorate (Ph.D. or D.M.A.) in music education required

Salary: $65,000/year
