Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for CMDB and HSAM systems, including user guides and process documentation
• Create and execute a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed about project updates and system features
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to gather information and validate content
• Advocate for clear and user-friendly documentation while managing the documentation lifecycle
• Identify opportunities for improvement in documentation processes and stay updated on industry best practices

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• 15+ years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field substituting for 5 years of experience
• 5+ years of experience as a technical writer in an IT environment
• Proven ability to create clear and concise documentation for diverse audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience documenting CMDB and/or asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Experience with screen capture and image editing software (e.g., Snagit, Adobe Photoshop)
