We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Director - Ad Sales, with a strong focus on Direct Brand and Agency Sales, to join our growing Sales team in New York City.

What we Want:

  • Identify, prospect, and build relationships with potential clients (Direct Clients & Agencies).
  • Sell a portfolio of digital advertising products (programmatic, direct publishers, paid search and social, video, influencer, multicultural, etc.).
  • Engage and influence senior client and agency stakeholders, including the C-Suite, to expand their business with Vertoz.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, onboarding, and maintaining ongoing relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction.
  • Foster “Forever Partnerships” by aligning with clients on long-term partnership goals.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with reporting and optimization recommendations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay current with digital advertising trends, technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Represent the company and cultivate new relationships at premier industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in digital ad sales, media sales, or related business development roles.
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Programmatic DSPs, Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
  • Existing relationships with media buyers, agencies, and direct advertisers (required).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
