Job Summary: The Design Studio Consultant will guide homebuyers through the selection process for interior and exterior finishes, ensuring their vision is brought to life. This role is essential in providing an exceptional customer experience and supporting the overall sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Consultation: Meet with homebuyers to understand their design preferences and guide them through the selection process for finishes, fixtures, and upgrades.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available products, materials, and design trends to provide informed recommendations.
• Design Presentations: Create and present design options to homebuyers, ensuring their selections align with their vision and budget.
• Documentation: Accurately document all selections and changes, ensuring clear communication with the construction and sales teams.
• Vendor Relations: Work with vendors to ensure product assortment are updated and current. Resolve any relation issues.
• Showroom Maintenance: Maintain the design studio showroom, ensuring it is organized, up-to-date, and visually appealing.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Strong customer relations and communication skills ensuring seamless transitions.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to support the overall sales process and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the design selection process.

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably in the home building industry.
• Skills: Strong design and color sense, excellent communication and presentation skills, familiar in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp), and strong organizational skills.
• Attributes: Collaborative, Creative, detail-oriented, customer-focused, ability to work under pressure, proficient in time management and strong problem-solving abilities. Strong relationship and communication skills working cross functional with the organization.
