Associate Photographer- Tallahassee, FL

Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for the media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a top-of-the-line Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment and iPad, our Associate Photographers create virtual tours, floorplans and photography for residential homes. Each Associate Photographer serves a core territory and will have appointments set for defined dates and times to scan homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans. They will also perform residential photography for marketing purposes to advertise properties to future owners and renters. This role works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics and the management team. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager located in local markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to maximize appeal.
  • Work with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.
  • Navigate one-mile square grids when not photographing a residential home to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage.
  • Identify new inventory, missing availability, and properties to be photographed.
  • Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard vehicle and equipment.
  • Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements for typing and operating camera equipment.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying as part of job functions.
  • Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.
  • Ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience. Real Estate Photography experience required.
  • Experience as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
  • FAA Part 107 Drone License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
  • Strong time management skills and detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to accurately capture and enter data.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
  • Enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment. Field experience preferred.
  • Current and valid driver’s license. Driving Record/Abstract check prior to start; driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is an hourly plus bonus-eligible role. Bonuses are paid on a monthly cycle based on performance against predefined metrics. The pay amounts to $50,000 annually, with opportunity for monthly bonuses.
