Multifamily Community Manager
Asset Living is a third‑party management firm building thriving communities across the U.S. The role supports multifamily and affordable housing and is based in Ridgway, CO.
Role Overview
The Community Manager oversees all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, finances, administration, and staff management, ensuring compliance with Asset Living’s policies and fair housing guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the on‑site team: hire, train, coach, develop, and evaluate staff.
- Schedule daily operations and maintenance staff assignments.
- Manage financial performance: achieve NOI, control costs, collect rents, reconcile deposits, process vendor invoices, and prepare accurate financial reports.
- Develop and implement leasing strategies: marketing plans, resident retention programs, and effective leasing techniques.
- Resolve resident complaints and maintain high resident satisfaction.
- Oversee emergency response and safety procedures.
- Maintain property appearance and coordinate repairs and capital improvements.
- Ensure accurate administrative reporting and timely compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years of housing industry experience; or relevant combination of education and experience.
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with on‑site property management software.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical & Practical Requirements
- Stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb., and perform tasks requiring repetitive hand use.
- Available for on‑call emergency duties; reliable transportation required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year (dependent on experience and qualifications).
