Job Number: R0228121
The Opportunity
Are you looking to transform the way a user interacts with web applications? You know that a good mission critical application is more than just the code, infrastructure, and a nice-looking interface—it’s the way it addresses a user’s needs. As a UX strategist, you put yourself in the user’s place to understand the best ways they can engage with the system being developed. We’re looking for you, a web developer who will use equal parts skill and vision to create an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency.
In This Role
In this role, you’ll collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and product managers to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Working on an Agile team, you’ll act as a user challenge discoverer and storyteller, helping to translate research into actionable user insights to drive new ways to visualize and engage with data. You’ll lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including information architecture, rapid prototyping, interface design, usability testing, and product implementation and development. Your experience with usability design and testing, product implementation and development will help you advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements while keeping the end-user at the center of your work. You will work with analysts and stakeholders to understand what they do or do not like with existing implementations, how to support current and future analytic tradecraft, and begin designing and producing mockups that incorporate their feedback, accessibility requirements to improve end user experience, standardize the look and feel, and modernize capabilities.
