Director of Sales and Marketing
to lead all strategic and tactical efforts to drive revenue, brand positioning, and market growth. This role offers the opportunity to shape the success of a nationally recognized hospitality property known for its exceptional guest experience, elevated service standards, and stunning event spaces.
The Director of Sales and Marketing will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive sales, marketing, and public relations strategies across multiple market segments — including group, leisure, corporate, social, and wedding business. This individual will collaborate closely with property leadership to achieve annual revenue goals while maintaining a consistent brand voice and premium guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales and marketing team
Identify new business opportunities across group, corporate, and leisure markets
Oversee digital marketing, advertising, social media, and public relations initiatives
Manage relationships with key accounts, travel partners, and local organizations
Collaborate with operations and revenue management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies
Represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and community functions
Ensure alignment between the property’s brand standards and all external communications
Qualifications
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in hospitality sales and marketing leadership
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing market share growth
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
Experience managing marketing budgets, campaigns, and digital strategies
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and business acumen
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
