Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer Jacobs
This role is available at any location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the best candidates.
Base pay range:

Your impact In our Advanced Manufacturing Group, our team delivers cost-effective and transformative projects to markets including specialty chemical, electric vehicle, manufacturing, metals, pulp and paper, and more. We design strategies tailored for every market and location to achieve client success. Were looking for an experienced, high-energy HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work with engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients and vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages. Youll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Youll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to meet client needs. Well support you with what you need to be successful. Highlights of your contributions will include: Layout and design of HVAC systems Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements Development of final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water Coordination with other disciplines
Requirements At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities Proficiency in Revit Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely
Preferred qualifications Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D Experience in design of plumbing/utility systems

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $135,075.00.
