Our client is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager to join their team in Columbia, MD. Our client offers cutting edge engineering solutions for communication companies, wireless carriers, and tower owners nationwide. Colliers has expanded their traditional customer base in the local market and is looking to backfill their current Telecommunications PM locally. This is an engineering position with PM duties. Candidates should have an in-depth knowledge in A&E engineering including design review (AutoCAD Civil 3D), drafting, MACRO roof top sites, structural engineering, structural analysis, TELCO D markings, deliverables, project plans, job setup, costs, labor, BOM, MOP, SOW, RFPs, PNL, etc. Day to day can include but is not limited to: Manage projects and clients as primary point of contact (main client is Verizon). Review advanced engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy. Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects. Participates in formulating and coordinating proposals and provide other marketing and business development support. Identify and develop opportunities with existing and potential clients. Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors' approval. Responsible for meeting predetermined goals on productivity targets and financial aspects of projects including profit, unbilled, accounts receivable, and direct the Project Accounting team on project invoicing. Manage a maximum of 4 direct reports. Hybrid work expectations: 2 days in Columbia office, 3 days remote; workload ~90% in office/home/remote and 10% in the field via site visits. First 2 weeks of training onsite if possible. Holding a PE is a huge plus but is not required. Candidates should be open to business development efforts, sales, professional communication with end clients to help acquire new business. Travel within the DMV may be required occasionally; a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement available.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and/or related field is required. 7+ years of experience in related field. PE license is preferred but not required. Valid driver's license required for site visits. Basic understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D for design review. Strong understanding of RFDs, structural, zoning and construction drawings, and telecom plan assembly. Demonstrate advanced technical and non-technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience level: Intermediate

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $110,000.00 - $154,000.00 per year.
