Overview
Jacobs is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team within the Advanced Manufacturing Group. You will help deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients, working with engineers and designers on field investigations, equipment sizing and selection, and construction design packages. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), P&IDs, and general arrangements Development of final construction documents for HVAC systems (e.g., chilled water, cooling water) Coordination with other disciplines Qualifications
At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities Proficiency in Revit Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design Adaptability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely Preferred/Ideally You’ll Also Have
Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems Base pay range
$102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr Benefits and additional information
