Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer at Jacobs. This role focuses on delivering innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients, coordinating with engineers and designers, and ensuring quality on construction design packages. Responsibilities
Layout and design of HVAC systems. Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selecting systems, development of Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements. Development of final construction documents for HVAC systems (e.g., chilled water, cooling water). Coordination with other disciplines. Qualifications
At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Proficiency in Revit. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, multi-deadline team environment. Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely. Preferred/Additional
Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D. Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems. Base pay range
$102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr Location and eligibility
