Base Pay Range $112,500.00/yr - $173,000.00/yr What Our Meteorologists Enjoy Most Combining data and science with the power of storytelling Providing our audiences with high‑quality, informative, easy‑to‑understand weather forecasts Creatively telling weather stories across platforms including TV, connected television, and digital Required Qualifications Experience: Forecasting and presenting weathercasts – 2+ years, working knowledge of TV weather graphics systems Education: Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology Technical Skills: Knowledge of synoptic meteorology, tropical and radar Skills: Ability to anticipate situations, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities Abilities: Demonstrate enthusiasm in dealing with breaking news Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover stories in your neighborhood and interact with the community Schedule: Ability to work different shifts or longer shifts due to "breaking news" and severe weather emergencies.
