The Digital Advocacy & Marketing Manager will strengthen First Focus on Children’s advocacy campaigns and digital presence while also supporting fundraising efforts. This role blends creative content development, digital campaign execution, and database management to elevate children’s policy issues, mobilize advocates, and expand the organization’s reach. Experience in fundraising and supporter engagement is highly valued, as the role will contribute to both advocacy and development campaigns that advance the mission to put children at the center of public policy. Key Responsibilities

Digital Advocacy & Campaigns

Manage digital channels, content calendar, and community engagement. Plan and implement digital campaigns that mobilize advocates, elevate children’s issues, and support legislative priorities. Leverage social media platforms and ad campaigns to expand brand awareness among policymakers, advocates, and coalition partners and to motivate supporters. Design email marketing strategies that grow the organization’s supporter base, including grassroots advocates and donors. Monitor digital trends and identify innovative strategies for policy and advocacy engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities

Manage and maintain robust social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement. Work closely with policy, communications, and development staff to coordinate, support and maximize email advocacy and fundraising campaigns. Publish and manage all content and digital assets for organization websites. Provide digital support for major events such as the Budget Summit and Children’s Week. Coordinate internal workflows to ensure projects and campaigns are delivered on time and on brand. Creative Content Development & Coordination

Coordinate and publish digital assets for social media, websites, and advocacy/fundraising campaigns. Support and coordinate multimedia production (short videos, audio, and promotional content) to amplify campaigns and events. Coordinate digital toolkits, one-pagers, and advocacy materials for campaigns and partner use. Database & Other Systems Management

Manage CRM and advocacy/fundraising systems (e.g., EveryAction, Voter Voice, Fiscal Note, JotForm, etc). Ensure supporter, advocate, and donor databases are accurate, secure, and compliant with privacy standards. Manage and execute virtual events, such as digital summits, webinars, state partner meetings and other events using Zoom, Streamyard, or similar tools. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public policy, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of experience in digital advocacy, marketing, and/or fundraising in nonprofit or mission-driven settings. Strong experience in social media creation (eg, Instagram, TikTok) and with social media scheduling and development tools (eg., Monday, Later, etc) Experience with CRM/advocacy/fundraising platforms (EveryAction, Engaging Networks, Salesforce, Voter Voice). Strong knowledge of and proficiency with WordPress Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar). Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects at once. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Passion for child advocacy, equity, and advancing policies that improve children’s lives. Salary+Benefits:
