We are hiring a Senior Content Manager to lead the content program for the flagship publication, The Digital Project Manager – a resource for delivery leaders who manage projects, people, and outcomes by leveraging AI to deliver faster and lead better in fast‑moving tech teams.
Base Pay Range:
$110,000 – $140,000 per year

Responsibilities
Lead cross‑channel content strategy and roadmap, owning the content plan and making decisions about creation, updates and optimizations across editorial, podcasts, newsletters, video, social and events.
Elevate content quality and innovation, overseeing site‑wide clarity and contributing first‑person content on high‑priority topics, with a focus on AI in project delivery.
Embed and scale AI‑powered content systems in partnership with content operations, refining workflows to scale responsibly.
Grow and empower a high‑performing content team, providing mentorship, editorial development and career support.
Coach internal experts for earned media, PR and thought‑leadership opportunities.
Collaborate closely with SEO, media, product marketing and partner strategy to align content strategy and elevate quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
5–7+ years in organic content strategy, editorial leadership or content marketing, with a proven record of scaling programs and driving measurable growth.
Strong project management background and hands‑on experience with Asana, Jira, Wrike, Trello, ClickUp and related tools.
Experienced in managing teams and publishing high‑impact content at scale, with strong editorial judgment.
Deep knowledge of SEO, content UX and operations aligned with business goals.
Advanced experience with AI‑assisted content production, including prompt design and workflow integration.
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum / Kanban frameworks and real‑world application in agency, studio or tech environments.
Excellent research, interviewing and storytelling skills, turning complex concepts into clear narratives.
Proficiency in GA4, Ahrefs, Airtable and WordPress.
Strong cross‑functional communication and project management skills.
Curiosity about emerging tools and ways of working in project management.
Nice to Haves
Expert commentary or thought‑leadership experience.
Familiarity with PR/media collaboration and outreach teams.
Background in content UX, accessibility or conversion‑oriented design.

Volume of high‑quality new and updated articles aligned with strategic priorities.
Adherence to editorial standards and improvements in engagement, UX feedback and time‑to‑publish.
Growth in keyword rankings, organic traffic, newsletter sign‑ups and conversions tied to AI and PM topics.
AI‑powered scalable improvements that reduce friction and enhance quality.
Team development metrics: faster content cycles and higher quality output.
Thought‑leadership readiness: media, interviews and PR opportunities that extend brand authority.
Proprietary enhancements: original diagrams, templates, tools or interactive elements that boost UX and search competitiveness.
Salary Statement This full‑time position is remote and offers an annual base salary in the range of $110,000 to $140,000 USD for candidates based in the USA. A discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package are also available.
