will play a key role in delivering high‑quality technical documentation that enables EnFin partners to efficiently deploy best‑in‑class renewable energy systems and accelerate projects through the finance process.

Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Overview The position involves product research, update tracking for approved vendor products on EnFin’s AVL, and updating collateral documents in collaboration with Quality Systems & Service (QSS), Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Capital Markets teams. The goal is to ensure the accurate and timely publishing of critical finance and technical process documents that support system funding on EnFin’s portal.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert on residential solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), mounting systems, and related products; provide technical guidance to internal teams and external partners.

Create and maintain high‑quality technical documentation using Microsoft Word, including installation manuals, user guides, technical application notes, and training materials for the EnFin portal.

Manage the full documentation lifecycle, including version control, using a document control and management board such as Confluence or Airtable to ensure content is reviewed, approved, and published correctly.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and accurate documentation.

Analyze and review technical data to ensure documentation accuracy and identify areas for process improvement.

Develop and standardize documentation templates and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all technical content.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field with 3‑5 years of experience.

Proven experience as a technical writer in a prior technical role, with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to create a variety of technical documents.

Expertise in creating professional technical documentation using Microsoft Word, including advanced features such as templates, styles, and cross‑references.

Experience with document version control and management systems such as Confluence, Airtable, or similar platforms.

In‑depth subject matter expertise in residential solar PV and BESS, including knowledge of system components, installation processes, and industry standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the renewable energy or financial services industry.

Experience with a structured authoring environment (e.g., DITA / XML / LaTeX); familiarity with Overleaf or similar XML document management systems.

Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its data structure, customer portal for documents.

Location & Work Arrangement This position may be based in San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; or Teaneck, NJ. In‑office expectations will be determined by the direct manager in accordance with company policies. Remote options may be considered in exceptional cases.
