Social Media Content Manager (with On-Camera Focus)

Job Summary The Doggett Automotive Group Marketing Team is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Content Manager to create, represent, grow and manage the online presence of our Houston-area dealerships across TikTok, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, and other social platforms. This position reports to the Marketing Director, Automotive. This position is perfect for someone who loves creating short-form videos, stays on top of social trends, and enjoys being part of the content - often appearing on camera to bring our brand stories to life. This position will be responsible for developing, producing, and publishing engaging content that connects with audiences and builds dealership visibility and loyalty for multiple Doggett Automotive Group dealerships.
Essential Functions Plan, create, and manage social media content for multiple dealership accounts Film, edit, and post high-quality short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with occasional horizontal YouTube videos up to 5 minutes in length Participate on-camera in select videos to humanize and promote the brand, as well as recruit staff to participate in videos as needed. Monitor engagement and respond to community interactions to foster connection and trust Analyze content performance and adjust strategies for reach and growth Collaborate with dealership management and marketing team to align content with events, and campaigns Stay up to date on social trends, audio styles, hashtags, and automotive content opportunities Represent Doggett Automotive Group professionally and positively in all public and digital interactions Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
Passion for creating short-form video content and strong understanding of current social media trends Comfortable being on camera in a professional, brand-aligned way Proficiency with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Basic video editing and storytelling skills (CapCut, Reels Editor, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools) Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and ability to operate dealership vehicles Preferred Qualifications
Education or experience in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media Prior experience in the automotive industry or dealership marketing Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, analytics tools, and social media scheduling platforms Experience managing multi-location or multi-brand social accounts
Typical Physical Activity Physical Demands consist of sitting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, standing, walking, typing, talking, hearing and traveling.
Travel Requirements Travel 50-75% of the time
