Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) is a diversified media company and the owner of USA TODAY NETWORK. We are seeking a City Reporter for The Oklahoman in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In this role you will cover city hall, local governance, community stories, and social justice issues. You will act as a relentless watchdog, take open records requests, and produce news in AP style along with digital multimedia content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or relevant experience.
  • Advanced computer and multimedia skills is a plus.
  • Must have reliable automobile and smartphone.
  • The position requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the minimum liability insurance required by state law.
