Director, Consumer Marketing - US Alzheimer's Disease We are seeking a Director of Consumer Marketing to join the US Alzheimer's Disease marketing team. This individual will be a strategic leader with a deep passion for consumers, experienced in developing and executing holistic, customer-focused omnichannel campaigns. This role will be instrumental in fulfilling Eisai's human healthcare (hhc) mission, which prioritizes patients and their families and enhances the value healthcare provides.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Consumer Marketing.
The Director will lead the strategic planning and execution of the patient and care partner omnichannel strategy across digital channels and media platforms. This includes developing and optimizing campaigns that simplify and improve the journey for individuals affected by Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)/Mild Alzheimer's disease.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic development of Direct to Patient marketing messaging, materials, and digital assets including websites, videos, emails, paid search, social media, and in-office tools.
Drive deep customer understanding across patient and care partner segments, including needs, behaviors, and channel preferences.
Oversee measurement and optimization of consumer campaigns to ensure alignment with brand strategy and business objectives.
Champion innovation by leveraging digital capabilities and piloting new marketing technologies to enhance engagement.
Manage agency and vendor relationships, including media and creative partners, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and budget oversight.
Ensure integration with the broader customer experience plan, delivering a seamless and impactful consumer journey.
Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate insights from the patient journey and caregiver experience into marketing initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Eisai Legal and Compliance policies and industry regulations.
Lead development of annual and long-term brand plans, contributing to strategic direction and budget planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, with 4+ years in consumer pharmaceutical marketing and/or advertising.
Proven experience in brand strategy development and execution, including Direct to Patient campaigns.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, omnichannel engagement, and media strategy.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and influence senior stakeholders.
Experience in launching and managing consumer campaigns in a regulated environment.
Proven ability to challenge the status quo, drive innovation, and deliver breakthrough marketing solutions.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L and marketing budgets.
Experience in agency management, including creative and media partners.
High ethical standards and personal integrity.
Knowledge of print production and consumer-facing materials.
This role is hybrid in Nutley, NJ, requiring 3 days onsite per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
Ability to travel approximately 15-20%.

Eisai Salary Transparency Language:
The annual base salary range for the Director, Consumer Marketing, Alzheimer's Disease is from $213,500 to $280,200. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan and Eisai Inc. Long Term Incentive Plan. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
