Base pay range $86.21/hr - $86.21/hr Title: User Experience Hardware Electrical Engineer Industry: Automotive Location: Foster City, CA Responsibilities Specify electrical component and system requirements and lead engineering discussions and development with suppliers. Coordinate supplier tooling and production to meet critical vehicle milestones. Collaborate with hardware design teams, firmware and software teams, and system operators to iterate on existing designs and develop future solutions. Conduct root cause analysis during the development, validation, build, and deployment phases for issue resolution. Support the development and execution of system and component-level validation test plans. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent). 5–10 years of experience in electrical component/system design and troubleshooting. Experience taking a part or assembly from concept through production, working with external suppliers, and managing deliverables for multiple projects. Automotive (CAN bus, automotive Ethernet, A2B, and other automotive networks), aerospace, or other safety-critical industry experience. Experience with on-board digital serial interfaces such as SPI, UART, I2C, and I2S.
