Director of Marketing and Business Development
Join a premier, strategically growing law firm specializing in Immigration Law. We are committed to aggressive expansion and seek a top-level executive to lead our business development and elevate our brand. This critical role requires a proven leader who can craft a compelling marketing strategy and personally drive client acquisition and new revenue streams.
The Director will serve as the primary engine for firm expansion and will operate as a true revenue partner. This is a significant strategic investment, and the successful candidate is expected to generate substantial, measurable net revenue growth.
Revenue Generation & Strategic Growth
Partnership Strategy:
Design and lead a comprehensive program to identify, cultivate, and formalize new referral sources and strategic partnerships.
New Revenue Streams:
Analyze the market to identify and launch new service offerings or client segments that represent substantial, profitable growth opportunities.
Thought Leadership:
Secure high-profile speaking engagements and media opportunities for firm partners to position the firm as the preeminent expert in the field.
Client Management:
Oversee strategic relationship-building with high-value clients to increase retention and referrals.
Digital Leadership:
Own the entire digital marketing strategy and execution.
Vendor Management & Oversight:
Directly find, onboard, manage, and oversee all external marketing vendors responsible for key channels, including SEO, Paid Digital Advertising (PPC), Social Media, Email Marketing, and Public Relations.
Brand Strategy:
Elevate and protect the firm's brand identity.
Budget Ownership:
Manage the marketing budget to ensure maximum Return on Investment (ROI) across all managed channels and vendors.
Performance & Compensation Expectation Direct Revenue Goal: This is a high-stakes, high-reward leadership position. The successful candidate is expected to generate substantial, direct, and measurable net revenue that will at least 3X their total compensation (salary and bonus) within the first 18-24 months.
Proposal Requirement Candidates must come to us with a detailed proposal outlining their strategic plan for achieving this aggressive growth target. To ensure a well-informed plan, we will grant the chosen candidate access to all necessary internal data, including financial history, client demographics, marketing analytics, and operational metrics.
Required Qualifications
Top-Level Experience:
8+ years of progressive experience in Marketing or Business Development, with at least 3 years operating at a Director or Vice President level in a professional services environment.
Proven Revenue Generation:
Documented history of creating and executing business development initiatives that resulted in substantial net revenue growth.
Vendor Management:
Demonstrated experience in successfully sourcing, managing, and holding marketing vendors (SEO/PPC/Social) accountable for measurable revenue outcomes.
Industry Preference:
Experience in the legal, finance, or specialized consulting fields is highly preferred.
Strategic Skills:
Exceptional ability to analyze market data, forecast revenue, and develop a clear, data-driven plan to achieve aggressive targets.
