Job Area: Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group, Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group > Product Marketing General Summary: Seeking a highly motivated IOT Technical Product Marketing Manager to drive the positioning, promotion, and adaptation of our IOT camera processor solutions across multiple markets including retail, industrial handhelds, video collaboration, and camera. This role requires both technical depth in image signal processing, computer vision, and AI, as well as strong marketing and communication skills to translate product capabilities into customer value. Key Responsibilities: Support go-to-market planning, messaging, and positioning in collaboration with product management. Define and communicate product messaging, positioning, and differentiation to internal and external stakeholders. Partner with engineering and product management to translate technical features into customer benefits. Create and deliver technical marketing content, including product briefs, solution guides, sales collateral, and competitive analysis. Engage directly with customers, ecosystem partners, and sales teams to drive design wins and adoption. Provide technical enablement and training for sales and FAEs. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to influence roadmap decisions and highlight market opportunities and trends. Represent Qualcomm at tradeshows, webinars, and industry events to promote solutions and demonstrate leadership in camera processing technology. This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. *Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field and 10+ years of Product Management, Product Marketing or Business Development experience. • Master’s degree in Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Product Management, Product Marketing or Business Development experience. Demonstrates executive presence, leadership and organizational skills. Has a strong technical background and continues to maintain a high level of technical proficiency. Experience in technology and/or chipsets. Experience publishing (e.g., writing, reviewing, editing) technical documentation. Proven experience collaborating with global teams to successfully bring new products to market. Strong customer engagement skills, including negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and enthusiastic, with a commitment to achieving business objectives. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge with colleagues.
