Position Summary Position Summary... What you'll do Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and in writing, e.g., customers, suppliers, associates. Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, safety. Monitor and manage productivity of the area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards in the area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitor associate compliance to policies and procedures; distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, or supplier concerns by listening, consulting with others when needed, and determine corrective action or make recommendations to resolve issues. Supervise and develop associates and leaders in the area of responsibility, including assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling logistics and company policies and procedures; identify training and development needs; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders. Manage the maintenance department's daily operations, monitoring performance related to maintaining warehouse equipment including material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, general building repairs; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, hazardous waste, NFPA, storm water, DOT, etc.). Manage financial aspects as assigned, monitor and track expenses and capital expenditures compared to budget, monitor asset utilization, and prepare, review, and analyze business reports. Salary and Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00. Additional compensation includes: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location. Stock. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree or Technical School Certification in an Industrial related field and 1 year related maintenance department supervisory experience. Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Industrial, or related field. 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance related environment; supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion of employees. 2 year Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including six months experience leading a work or project team (e.g., risk control). 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial related environment; supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion of employees with 1 year experience in the maintenance field. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
