About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Marketing Associate with strong executional skills and grassroots/traditional marketing instincts to help bring campaigns to life at the local level. In this role, you’ll activate strategic tour marketing plans and local market activations, while remaining flexible to support brand initiatives across a variety of industries. You’ll work closely with strategy leads, creative teams, and vendors to ensure localized tactics are deployed effectively, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, understands the nuance of local market activation, and thrives in fast‑paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

Radio & Media Coordination

  • Coordinate local radio buys, promo reads, and ticket giveaways across key markets.
  • Liaise with radio partners and media reps to ensure accurate on‑air mentions, spot rotations, and campaign reporting.
  • Track performance and provide post‑campaign summaries to the team.

Local Market Activation

  • Execute localized marketing tactics for tours and events, including radio, street teams, influencers, grassroots, and community outreach.
  • Manage timelines, creative assets, and field marketing efforts using project management tools like Airtable and Asana.
  • Identify local partnership and cross‑promotion opportunities that drive awareness and ticket sales.

Show Marketing & Settlements

  • Track spends, settlements, and invoice processing for local marketing tactics.
  • Work with internal teams to reconcile budgets and ensure all marketing‑related expenses are documented accurately.
  • Support the preparation of post‑show wrap reports summarizing marketing efforts and performance insights.

Cross‑Functional Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with internal teams (social, paid media, creative) to align messaging, visuals, and deliverables for each market.
  • Assist with influencer outreach, content coordination, and creative trafficking across campaigns.
  • Support marketing and promotional efforts for non‑entertainment clients or brand initiatives as needed.

Community & Event Engagement

  • Coordinate with local partners, venues, and vendors to bring activations to life in‑market.
  • Help organize local marketing stunts, street team activations, or college outreach events.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regional partners to ensure consistent visibility and brand alignment.

Reporting & Insights

  • Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and campaign performance.
  • Report insights, learnings, and best practices to inform future strategy and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, promotions, or event execution — entertainment or grassroots experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with local radio and media buying processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational, budgeting, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments and tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in Airtable, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • A self‑starter who thrives on collaboration, creative problem‑solving, and hands‑on execution.
