Position Overview The Ecommerce Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving customer engagement and revenue growth through strategic, data-driven marketing initiatives. This role focuses on creating compelling campaigns, optimizing automated flows, and leveraging audience insights to deliver personalized experiences that strengthen customer relationships and retention.

This role will report to the Ecommerce Marketing & Merchandising Manager and will work closely with the broader Marketing, Creative, and Ecommerce teams. The ideal candidate combines creativity with a data-driven mindset and has a passion for learning the ins and outs of ecommerce marketing.

Email & SMS Marketing

Plan and execute weekly email and SMS campaigns aligned with promotional calendars, brand storytelling, and key marketing initiatives.

Maintain and optimize automated flows (welcome, post-purchase, win-back, etc.), while developing new sequences to increase engagement and conversion.

Identify audience segments and collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted messaging that improves personalization and campaign relevance.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) for actionable improvements.

Serve as in-house Klaviyo expert, staying up to date on platform innovations in segmentation, personalization, and AI-driven optimization tools.

Customer Funnel Optimization

Support continuous improvement of sign-up forms, pop-ups, and opt-in strategies to grow high-quality subscriber lists and maximize conversion opportunities.

Assist in executing loyalty program initiatives, ensuring seamless Shopify integrations and automated communications through email and SMS.

Manage and promote the Wish List feature to encourage return visits, repeat purchases, and deeper customer engagement.

Identify new retention opportunities and implement personalized touchpoints that strengthen customer lifetime value.

Shopify & Klaviyo Integrations

Support setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of integrations between Shopify, Klaviyo, and other marketing systems.

Assist with technical connections across paid advertising, analytics, product tagging, and segmentation tools to improve performance tracking and campaign targeting.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and technical teams to ensure all integrations support marketing goals and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience in digital or ecommerce marketing.

0–2 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally with exposure to email and/or SMS campaign management.

Familiarity with platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or HubSpot.

Understanding of key ecommerce metrics: open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.

Experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms is a plus.

Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for persuasive, on-brand marketing copy.

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email template edits (preferred, not required).

Willingness and ability to travel monthly to Scottsboro, AL (approx. 2.5‑hour drive).
