Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 Annual Salary Plus Incentive

About Rich Harvest Farms: Rich Harvest Farms officially opened in 1999 with the distinguished honor of being rated the 5th Best New Private Golf Course by Golf Digest. Three years later, Golf Digest placed the course on “America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses,” where it remains to this day. Located on 1,800 acres, Rich Harvest Farms is tucked between wetlands, forest, farmland, and Illinois prairie grass, outside of Aurora and an hour west of Chicago.

Position Summary The Marketing and Sales Manager is responsible for new membership sales, increasing Club revenues by marketing and encouraging members to utilize and enjoy the club’s amenities, and to develop, build, and maintain relations with the community and the Club’s charitable foundations and partnerships. In accomplishing these responsibilities, the Marketing and Sales Manager will effectively interact with Club members, community, foundations, partnership organizations, implement marketing strategies, facilitate membership sales and establish a premier outreach program.

Responsibilities Include:

Creating marketing and communications strategies to support the Club and its members in attracting and proposing new members.

Managing and facilitating potential new members through the application process:

Educating and reviewing with potential members the application process and terms and conditions of membership.

Overseeing, managing, facilitating, and conducting Club tours that emphasize the Club’s amenities and the value of a membership.

Facilitating potential new members through the full process of being considered and becoming a new member.

Developing, implementing, and participating in the new member welcome orientation that educates and helps new members assimilate within the Club and existing membership.

Maintaining the Club’s membership records, analyzing statistics and trends, reporting findings, and recommending and implementing solutions as needed.

Identifying opportunities that would increase member engagement and create additional revenues for the Club by communicating with and marketing to the membership about opportunities they could utilize the Club’s amenities beyond golf, such as dining, the car museum, and lodging.

Assisting in event planning, meeting with members on expectations, communicating with Club personnel, and following up with members for event feedback.

Managing and assisting with the Club’s partnership in the youth golf non-profit Kids Golf Foundation of Illinois, which is headquartered at Rich Harvest Farms, including informing the membership and partners on its activities.

Communicating with members, guests, and communities and businesses outside of the Club and developing effective relationships, partnerships, and contacts that would provide mutual value and benefit.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate’s Degree, or related experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Experience in marketing and sales.

Experience in or familiarity with the private club industry.

Experience in planning and coordinating events.

Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sales software.

Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 per year
