Email Marketing Specialist
This is a remote position. We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist with a solid understanding of marketing automation, customer journey flows, and eCommerce growth levers.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, build, and execute email campaigns and automated flows (e.g., welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement) in HubSpot
Support broader lifecycle marketing strategies with hands‑on execution and optimization
Collaborate with content and design teams to produce email assets that reflect brand tone and drive conversion
Implement segmentation strategies to target specific audiences and improve deliverability and engagement
Track and report on key performance metrics (open rates, CTR, CVR, etc.), identifying insights and opportunities
Conduct A / B testing on subject lines, copy, design, and send times to optimize performance
Maintain and organize contact lists, ensuring data hygiene and compliance with email regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN‑SPAM)
Stay current with best practices and trends in email marketing and eCommerce automation
Occasionally assist in cross‑channel campaign alignment (e.g., paid media, landing pages, pop‑ups)
Requirements
24 years of hands‑on experience in email marketing, ideally in eCommerce or DTC
Proficient with HubSpot (flows, lists, segmentation, reporting); experience with Klaviyo is a plus
Strong analytical skills to interpret email KPIs and recommend data‑driven actions
Good eye for design and UX within email templates (no need to code, but basic editing / design skills a plus)
Strong copy instincts and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with creative and growth teams
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify is preferred
Nice to Have
Experience with multi‑channel lifecycle strategies (email, SMS, pop‑ups)
Knowledge of CRO tactics and landing page / email alignment
Exposure to performance marketing and its impact on retention / email strategy
