The position is remote; some travel may be required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, and other events.

Role Overview As an

Account Specialist , you will provide white glove service to diverse brands investing in influencer marketing campaigns. This role focuses on campaign execution—driving influencer recruitment, managing influencer partnerships, owning campaign deliverables, tracking, and reporting. You will also drive strategy by analyzing performance, identifying success and challenge areas, and proactively implementing measures to continuously optimize programs toward goals and objectives.

Top 5 Responsibilities

INFLUENCER RECRUITMENT, NEGOTIATING & ONBOARDING – Sources new partnership opportunities, creates casting lists, vets opportunities for brand alignment, authenticity, and relevancy, conducts outreach, negotiates, and supports influencer onboarding.

INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT – Crafts program-wide communications, guides content strategy, coordinates timelines, reviews drafts, ensures FTC compliance, and troubleshoots performance issues.

AUDITING, REPORTING & ANALYSIS – Audits content for FTC and brand compliance, tracks metrics, shares insights with clients, performs analysis, provides actionable recommendations, and supports strategy presentations.

CLIENT SERVICE & COMMUNICATION – Provides superior client service, escalates key risks, builds trust, maintains quality and precision, nurtures relationships, and supports high client satisfaction (average rating 8.5).

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT – Owns client tasks with minimal supervision, manages multiple campaigns, prioritizes, flags delays, identifies new opportunities, and ensures timely delivery.

What Success Looks Like By 3 Months

Contributing across a portfolio of influencer programs, collaborating for alignment with strategy.

Working with key clients to ensure brand alignment with recruitment and content creation.

Familiar with AP’s tools, executing casting, content timelines, audits, and performance tracking.

By 6 Months

Owning day‑to‑day operations of multiple influencer programs with little guidance.

Managing challenging client or team situations with guidance, presenting solutions.

Analyzing client data and strategically leveraging insights to optimize campaigns.

Handling client accounts effectively and profitably, maintaining an average 8.5 rating.

Presenting new campaign ideas to managers and demonstrating clear understanding of performance.

By 1 Year

Resolving account and creator issues independently, providing insights and recommendations.

Contributing new ideas and improving processes for efficiencies.

Taking on new account responsibilities and serving as a thought leader within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

2+ years working for an influencer marketing agency with execution experience.

Solid understanding of omni‑channel and digital marketing, track record with consumer products/services.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; client approval.

Working knowledge of attribution in digital marketing.

Understanding of the synergy between influencer and affiliate marketing.

Experience with tools such as CreatorIQ, Grin, Izea (preferred).

Knowledge of Affiliate Networks or SaaS platforms (Impact, ShareASale, CJ, etc.) (preferred).

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Ability to travel up to 15%.

Advanced Excel capabilities.

Target Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 depending on location and experience.
