SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER 8+ years experience in Multifamily, Single Family FFE and Specifications.
SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake design projects from concept to completion focusing on Specs and FFE.
Manage multiple projects focusing on high-end amenities, multi-family, and models.
Interpret and translate customer needs into desired Specs and final FFE.
Work closely with Interior Architecture to concept interior details and space planning in all phases of the project (drawings are by Interior Architects).
Assist with and/or lead client meetings and job site walk-throughs.
Keep all projects on schedule and within time frames set out for selections and ordering.
Follow spec and FFE budget requirements.
Ensure all items are ordered for a project with the Project Manager/Expeditor.
Understand CA process, RFIs and Submittals as needed.
Participate fully in the FFE installation and punch of the project.
Use your Leadership skills to train and coach your Design Assistant and collaborate with others working on the project.
Work closely and respectfully with outside architects, supervisors, clients, subs, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
4-year degree in Interior Design.
8+ years applicable Interior Design experience in Furnishings, Fabrics and Specifications.
4+ years of team leadership or management skills.
Strong creative and quick-thinking team player with impeccable professionalism, commitment to deadlines and an easy-going personality.
Digital portfolio of applicable Interior Design images.
LOCATION & LEGAL
Florida candidates only. Candidates will have a GREEN CARD or US CITIZENSHIP.
Candidates will have a DIGITAL PORTFOLIO to SHARE.
