Base Pay Range $65.00/hr - $68.97/hr
Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate local and family foundation funding opportunities
Develop compelling proposals that advance community‑focused research
Coordinate proposal timelines and ensure high‑quality submissions
Support faculty and research teams with grant strategy and preparation
Participate with principal investigator in the preparation of the administrative components of proposals within parameters of sponsored and nonsponsored research guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with IRB processes and grant writing at Stanford is highly desirable
Master’s degree preferred
3 years of experience in higher education or research environments
Experience writing and preparing grant proposals for federal, state, or foundation funding
Familiarity with Stanford research administration systems and offices, including RMG, OSR, SeRA, Cayuse Proposals, FFIT/My Projects, eCertification, OPACS, and Authority Manager
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate research concepts clearly
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strong collaboration and communication skills with faculty and research teams
Ability to report progress and priorities to executive leadership
Requirements
Full time or part time: part time
Number of hours per week: 10
Shift timing/schedule: Up for discussion – generally M/W on site
Will the resource be working with minors? No
How many years of experience are required? Preferably Master’s with 3 years direct experience as a grant writer
Will this role extend or possibly convert to a Stanford FTE? Not at this time

Project management skills to coordinate multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously
