Community Manager - Rocklyn at Samuels Ave - Fort Worth, TX
Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager who is responsible for supervising, controlling, and planning the day-to-day activities of the apartment community. They are also responsible for the implementation of company policies, procedures, and programs that will ensure a well-managed, well-maintained building in compliance with all regulatory agencies and investors.

What You’ll Be Doing
Consistently use successful techniques and company directives to screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel.
Provide support to staff to encourage teamwork and lead as an example in creating a harmonious environment.
Ensure all administrative processes involving personnel are handled on a timely basis.
Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
File reports regarding any work-related injuries.
Maintain accurate records of all community transactions and submit them on a timely basis.
Prepare annual budgets and income projections in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure that all rents and late fees/check charges are collected, posted, and deposited on time.
Review, code, and approve invoices for payments.
Make daily bank deposits.
Ensure the property is rented to full capacity.
Utilize marketing strategies to secure prospective residents.
Oversee the consistency and effectiveness of the Assistant Community Manager and Leasing Agent teams.
Ensure leasing practices conform to federal, state, and local law.
Collect, process, and sign leases or supervise others to do so.
Handle delinquent accounts and pursue lease renewals aggressively.
Supervise leasing employees, ensuring good closing techniques.
Handle evictions and landlord liens.
Maintain resident files and common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
Manage maintenance requests on an immediate one-call basis when possible.
Handle emergency reports, prepare inspections, and enforce community policies.
Supervise outside contractors and ensure code, mortgage, and other inspections are prepared.
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and community software.
Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Must achieve Fair Housing certification before interacting with residents.
Present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner.
College degree preferred.
Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification.
Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
