Overview

Product Marketing Manager. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end product portfolio management across assigned categories, driving sales, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction goals. This role plays a key part in developing a robust 2–3 year innovation pipeline and delivering best-in-class performance with a “General Manager” mindset. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results-driven marketer with a passion for innovation, analytics, and consumer engagement within the health and wellness or CPG space. Key Responsibilities

Business & Strategic Planning Develop and execute the annual operating plan (AOP) for assigned product lines in alignment with company goals. Use quarterly planning to track performance and adjust strategies to achieve sales, profit, and market share targets. Continuously improve the portfolio planning process through data-driven insights and learnings. Portfolio Management Lead product strategy development with a focus on consumer needs, competitive positioning, and business case modeling. Drive innovation pipeline planning and manage the stage-gate process in partnership with the PMO. Conduct ongoing SKU optimization in collaboration with Sales, Operations, and R&D. Own P&L performance for the product portfolio and ensure regulatory and legal compliance. Project Management Oversee project timelines, ensuring execution is on schedule and within budget. Coordinate cross-functional teams to streamline product launch and commercialization processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Communications, and Creative teams to align on go-to-market strategies and execution. Support sales initiatives with strong sell-in materials and trade marketing tools. Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Insights & Analytics Analyze market, consumer, and competitive trends to inform strategy. Lead research efforts to uncover actionable consumer insights. Track portfolio performance and provide regular reporting to senior leadership. Recommend actions to improve sales performance and portfolio health. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 5–7 years of marketing experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), beauty, or health & wellness (VMS) Strong track record of business results and strategic execution Experience developing impactful consumer marketing and communication plans Excellent organizational and project management skills Collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams Strong communication and analytical skills Entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving agility Passion for health, wellness, and making a positive impact Willingness to take a hands-on approach in a growing environment; team leadership experience is a plus Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
