Marketing Liaison responsible for identifying professional referral sources and key decision makers in primary and secondary markets, pre-qualifying referrals, and developing relationships to generate qualified leads for skilled nursing and long-term care. Responsibilities

Identifies professional referral sources and key decision makers in the primary and secondary markets. Pre-qualifies referral sources to determine their ability to send qualified leads to the community for skilled nursing and long term care. Visits and conducts presentations to area referral sources and key decision makers. Establishes and maintains professional relationships so that they will refer their contacts to the community. Conducts a minimum of 10 to 12 calls per day and two special events monthly (lunch & learn/presentations, etc.). Logs all contacts and submits results each Monday with outcomes from calls. Creates and maintains a two-week advance action plan that categorizes referral sources as A and B, with A being top, consistent sources and B being new or developing sources. The plan lists daily calls, visit focus, results, and next actions. Develops a quarterly formal relationship-marketing plan with the Vice President-Marketing (VPM) and the Executive Director to identify priority accounts and networking sources in primary and secondary markets (e.g., physicians, senior organizations, hospital case managers, and other healthcare organizations). Defines strategies, action plans, activity benchmarks, and referral expectations for each priority account and the sales activity needed to maintain them. Participates in regular sales meetings, trainings, and seminars. Participates in local associations and groups relevant to area seniors to impact census and awareness for Morningside Ministries. Maintains a professional appearance at all times. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and VPM. Maintains accurate, complete, and up-to-date contact database (in REPS) of professional contacts to measure community-relations efforts, per Morningside Ministries guidelines. Stays updated on operational and competitive information to respond effectively to service inquiries from area professionals and ensure proper market positioning. Must be able to perform preadmission assessments for potential admissions (skilled, assisted living, and dementia). Working conditions

Works in a clean, well-lit, ventilated building and in the liaison’s personal automobile when making calls/visits. Physical demands

Standing, sitting, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs., handling, fingering, pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (overhead, forward, low), stooping, kneeling, climbing, crouching, twisting, balancing. Corrected vision to 20/20 and hearing to normal range. Special demands

Makes evening or weekend appointments as necessary. Available to travel as needed. Must have Texas Driver’s License and personal vehicle for travel. Continuous exposure to clients and/or family members who may be under stress. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations/Communications or related field, or equivalent experience; experience in healthcare B2B preferred. Training and experience: Experience in retirement and long-term care, effective sales, leadership and presentation skills including group presentations. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-through skills. Problem-solving ability. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Certifications and licenses: LVN or RN preferred. Job knowledge: Ability to explain Medicare coverage, Medicaid, current residency and monthly service fee structures. Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to motivate others. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and the REPS Lead Management software. Benefits
