Responsibilities
Work under the direct supervision of a Senior Engineer, providing technical guidance throughout the project duration.
Perform routine plumbing engineering/design assignments for domestic cold/hot/recirculated hot water, sanitary waste and vent, roof drainage, natural gas, fuel oil, medical gases, and more.
Utilize industry tools/software to develop plumbing system designs and equipment selections.
Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
Create and maintain the mechanical/plumbing discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output.
Accurately model and annotate BIM elements with the correct constraints using current 3D software.
Prepare detailed construction documents, layouts, and diagrams of plumbing design within project scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate plumbing design with other disciplines through Design Reviews and the 3‑D Coordination process.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial/Institutional experience in healthcare.
Required Qualifications
Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience.
Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
Experience with 3D coordination tools.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits.
Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
