The Part-time Library Assistant – Weekends will assist in providing library service at the circulation desk, shelving and straightening materials, processing materials, conducting inventory, and other projects. This position requires working nights and weekends.

Campus Harrogate, Tennessee
Required Qualifications
- Some college education
- Some customer service experience
- Ability to perform light to medium levels of physical activity
- Visual acuity required to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work and to observe conditions of the library facility
- Close visual acuity for working on a computer, reading, writing reading labels

Responsibilities
- Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and the community at large
- Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding library patron records and other University matters
- Check books in and out
- Answer the phone
- Assist library patrons with basic information needs and research
- Assist with basic technology (printing, copying, scanning, etc.)
- Shelve, straighten, and shift library materials
- Assist staff with projects
- Perform other similar duties as assigned
