Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers to assess and translate functional needs into user-friendly interfaces
  • Assist the UI/UX Design Lead in creating innovative workflows and screen patterns for software products
  • Evaluate delivered software for adherence to established design conventions and quality assurance
  • Collect and analyze User Experience data from various sources to inform design decisions
  • Create graphical elements for software applications as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong visual communication skills and ability to adhere to product guidelines
  • Proficiency in design software including Figma and Adobe CC
  • Familiarity with task management software such as Jira
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate design-based reasoning effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a non-profit or arts-related environment
  • Knowledge of user experience research methodologies
  • Previous experience in a UI/UX design role or internship
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Understanding of accessibility standards in design
