What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Collaborate with product managers, development teams, and designers to identify needs
• Develop plans for user research activities throughout the product lifecycle
• Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research studies
• Synthesize research findings into actionable user-centered design and product goals
• Present research findings to stakeholders through reports and presentations

What is Required (Qualifications)

• 3-5 years of experience in user research with a focus on software and hardware product design
• Master's degree in marketing, market research, human factors, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design processes and research methods
• Experience with Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Jobs to be Done (JTBD) research methods
• Proven project management skills and ability to meet deadlines

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with design control and regulatory practices for medical devices or similar industries
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
• Proficiency in programming user research surveys in Qualtrics or similar platforms
• Experience analyzing Conjoint and MaxDiff data using Sawtooth software
• Track record of working effectively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
