Description
  • Conduct evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational methodologies.
  • Craft individualized treatment plans that meet both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
  • Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions that emphasize language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care strategies.
  • Provide education to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond the therapy sessions.
  • Assist in performing occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the patient's journey.
  • Maintain precise documentation practices in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field through continuing education and peer collaboration.
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of employment.

  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies that cater to all age groups, underpinned by a robust comprehension of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions.
