Position: Community Manager Responsibilities Oversee the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. Supervise on-site staff to ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and safety and fair housing guidelines. Perform financial management tasks including budgeting, monitoring deposits, rent collections, vendor invoices, and financial reporting. Develop and implement yearly marketing and leasing plans; utilize marketing systems to achieve leasing goals. Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; handle resident complaints and retention programs. Plan and supervise administrative and maintenance activities; ensure timely reporting and inspections. Lead emergency response for the property and coordinate with staff, residents, and vendors to minimize liability. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or four years of housing industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Proficiency with on-site software and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements Must be able to communicate with others, work overtime, weekends, and night hours in emergencies. Regularly sit or stand; move about to accomplish tasks; may require climbing stairs or ladders and lifting up to 25 lbs. Work in various environments and temperatures; operate vehicles as needed. License/Equipment Must have reliable transportation due to on-call requirements. Salary Range: $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr Compensation and Benefits At Asset Living, compensation decisions consider skill set, background, and certifications.
